About World Bodybuilding & Fitness Association :

The World Bodybuilding and Fitness Association (WBFA) was organized in August 2000. The WBFA is comprised of a management team with more than 80 years of bodybuilding, figure and fitness promotion experience.

The WBFA was organized and headed by Kelvin Fountano, former USA Bodybuilding Team member and a successful contest promoter. Kelvin's vision was to bring together the most respected professionals in the health & fitness promotion industry and form an organization for athletes to compete in a fun , fair and positive environment.

Our Mission

•   To expand the sport of bodybuilding, figure and fitness to all health & fitness enthusiasts.
•   To sponsor and support fun, competitive, and professionally managed events and ___competitions.
•   To educate, support, and honor WBFA members and athletes by providing staff availability, ___education and travel opportunities.

•   To provide the opportunity for athletes to qualify for the opportunity to qualify as member of Team USA representing the U.S, at international competitions, the World Championships and the prestigious Mr./Ms. Universe Championships.

•    To honor our Athletes of the Year.

•   To encourage our athletes and staff to become involved with community groups, youth    organizations, school programs and sports organizations.
